Topic #9: What's Next???

OH MY GOD!! This is the last couple of week of class. Really!!! I cannot believe it… However it is true. Haha.

            I have many plans after this semester. I create plans every single day. When I have a free time or a relax time, I always dream, imagine, and fantasize.

·         I need to study in university.

·         I need to start my program for Computer Science.

·         I need to go back to my country.

·         I need to meet my parent, my sister, and my family.

·         I need to see and hang out with my friends in Thailand.

·         I have a plan to travel east side of America.

However, all of my plans depend on Saturday, December 15^th 2012. I have a PBT TOEFL test on that day. If I pass the TOEFL, I can complete all my plans certainly. Thus, I had better study hard and I must do sample TOEFL tests as much as I can. I think, and I hope that I can achieve my goal. Fighting!!

 

Topics #8: No Smell!!!

If I had to lose one of my five senses, I would choose “SMELL”. In my opinion, when I lose smell, it does not make me much terrible to live. I still can see, touch, listen, and feel. I can go anywhere, I can talk with others, and I can hold anything. Moreover, people do not smell all the time. Most of using nose is for breathing. They smell when it has something wrong in the air, or it has special smell such as food, fragrances, and flowers.

I had an experience of losing smell. I had a sinusitis. I had lost smell, when I got sick for two weeks. I could not smell every scent. Apparently, it made me very frustrated and irritated; however, I still could be as another person. I did not need help to move or eat. I just breathed hard and had headache.

Thus, losing smell does not make people awful to be alive. They still can do anything by themselves. However, if poeple have completely five senses, it is wonderful.

Topic #7: UN-invent is Facebook!!

Only one thing which is in my thought when I know the meaning of a word “UN-invent” is FACEBOOK. I cannot say that I do not like it, but I do not need it to be in my life. Facebook is a social network service which is very famous. It had built since 2004, yet more than one billion people become member. I want it to be UN-invent because I always waste much time on it. When I login Facebook, I cannot push myself out or logout. I always spent more than one hour on it without any benefits. I read gossip, read friends’ statuses, see friends’ pictures, and talk with friends and family. There are nothing importance; however I have to check it every day.

My friends who usually online Facebook change own life-style. They are not only less talking, but also less patience. She does not talk via phone when she wants to talk with me. She leaves me a message on my Facebook wall. Therefore, I have to check my Facebook as much as possible because I do not need to miss anything. However, when I check it, I do not read only one message. I always check others, so I have to spend time longer on it. I do not know why I do like this, yet I cannot change my behaviors. Although I have try many times to leave out it after I online, but it is not success. Moreover, my friends cannot endure anymore. When they just misunderstand with others, they post and tell another one. They cannot patient and wait a time to talk with them. They want others to understand their feeling. They do not care who are wrong or right.

However, Facebook has an advantage thing. I can update new things such as news, TV show, and movie by reading friends’ status. It seems twitter that tells people what is happened. There are both advantage and disadvantage. Nevertheless, if people spent much time on Facebook, nothing will be good. I hope you can control yourself and manage a time to deal with it.

Topic #6: Time Travel into last 400 years

“TUB!!” is the sound when something falls down. When I heard this sound, I always looked around, and found where the sound came from because I had to check that others will not fall down on my head. That is all I do.

In contrast, Sir Isaac Newton, who was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and theologian, thought very different from others. When he heard the sound, which an apple fell down on a ground, and saw the apple fell down, he wondered why the apple or anything fall down from above to below or why apple or anything may not go up.

I need to see that circumstance why Newton thought about gravity. What was he thinking? Why he thought different? What is diferent between his brain and my brain? Why I did not think like him?  How to think like him? How to be a genious?

If the apple fell down on his head, he still had thought why apple  fall down.

Honestly, if I can alter this event, I would let me to be a part of his experiment such as scientist. I need to have a different thinking as him. Maybe I may a scientist in last 400 years.

Topic #5: Pet Peevs

      On this morning, I got annoyed with a bad driver who tailgated. I arrived at school so late, 8.30 a.m. I had to hurry to find a parking spsace. I drove to Eastside Building. I needed to drive to the fifth floor as fast as I can, but I cann’t drive more that 5 mph because a car in fornt of me drove so slow. I felt frustarted. However if this car drove faster, it still did not make me be ontime in my class because my class started at 8.00 a.m. I just followed her. At the same time, I saw a car behind me, he taigated and lighted a high light to my car. I cannot do anything. I try to signal him by handsignal. I cannot drive faster than I was driving. I needed to drive off this route to let him go, but I cannot. He still taitgated me. I was very anoyed because I also hurryed.

      I do not like a driver who tailgates in a small space because I do not know how to deal with. I try to do the best, if I can. Moreover, I think we are in the same situation that we hurried. We should understand each other. Arggg!!

Topic #4: I am beautiful, but I am Dum!!

       "Dum", called my friends. "Dum" is a Thai language that means black. Obviously, they called me from my weak point because most Thai girls are white or light dark skin. They always called me "Dum" as my nickname because my skin is black or quite dark. I hate this word, so I always felt upset when I heard or was called. Thus, I had a dream to change my skin color.
       I had known how to get white skin. There are three methods to change: scrub, medicine, and injection. However, nobody confirms that all this methods are good. I just have scrubbed, an easy way to get white skin, because it is not dangerous for my skin and body. I used such natural products as salt, sugar, mark, tamarind, and skin care. They make my skin clean and clear, but my skin does not white. I never have tried them, so I afraid all effects from medicine and injection.
       When I grow up, I do not care much about my skin. I do not care what my skin color is. Everyone has own character. I think that is a good for me to make everyone remember me. Do you agree? ;)))

Topic #3: I want to speak Hindi flurntly.

The other language that I want to learn except English and Thai is Hindi. Hindi is a language used in India. I like India and Indian. I have been in India since 2010; I plan to go back to there, if it possible. The main reason is I want fit in their country and people, if I go to India. It is quite hard to speak only English, for some Indian cannot speak English especially, in the rural city. When I went to India without knowing in Hindi, I spent much time to associate with others. For example, in the market, I could not tell sellers what I want to buy because all products are in their store. I must tell them whatever I want, after that the sellers give it for me. At the first time, I bought egg. I used all body language to explain them. I showed them as a chicken by shaking my hands fast and gobbling. All people in the market looked at me. I seemed as a joker. After I came back market, I discussed with my Indian friends, so they taught me Hindi. In the next time, I went to market; I could communicate with them better. It was so hard to me to live in other country without language. I have to learn more and more.

However, all language is very interesting for me. If I have more time and more brain or memory, I will learn in others. In the fact that I cannot learn because I got a trouble to remember. Sometime I cannot explain what I want because I cannot choose any word to explain. Honestly, just English and Thai is enough for me because both make me crazy now. Help me plzzz!!

Topic #2: A Great First Impression in California!! Really?

When I arrived at California, I felt, like a one person in the world because most U.S. people seem that they did not see me. At the airport, people or America people waited, walked, passed, did, or toke anything without interesting the surrounding. They did not care others, and they had done all information quickly as they want depart airport as fast as they can. I saw around myself all the lime, for I knew nothing in here. I had to make sure that I did not do something wrong or weird. After I arrived at home, I just told myself that it is the time for solitary. This assumption had solved when I came to school. Many students spent their life alone. Most of the students studied at library or around school by themselves, but most students in my country shared or studied in a group. They let me know that to be a single person is so simple and general.

All the first feeling in California has taught me to be a good single person in U.S and to be a good adult in the future. When I felt lonely or homesick, I always thought about the first time I came here. I must live and stay alone; however, it is too difficult for me, who came from a big society or interdependent country. I have to solve many problems, got in my mind, and I have to do anything carefully because I do not need more problems. I hope I can live in U.S. perfectly; moreover, I can solve all trouble things well. ;)

Topic #1: Who is Billie?

My formal name is Miss Chavinee  Chaisri. I prefer everybody call me “Billie”. I was born in Bangkok, Thailand. When I was young, I have a dream to be a teacher because teacher is very important and powerful to the people. One of people life times has related with teacher.

I was a freshman in Computer Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. I discovered that I can fulfill my dream by teaching about Computer. I started my childhood dream by making many experiences. I spent my third year working for an internship at BK Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology (BK. BIET.), Pilani, India. In my senior year, I had gone to Korea to present my research paper. (I went there ‘alone’. ˇ﹏ˇ I felt so scared because I am just a little girl. Am I??) Now, I have been doing my dream, and I want improve my English skill and computer science. Therefore I decided to come to U.S. for studying Master’s Degree.

End of boring life!! Change mode to relax time…

I am an excited, hyperactive, and crazy person. When I have a free time, I always sleep, go to shopping, hang out with my lovely friends, surf, knit hats, and watch movies. I do not have an interesting thing because I have never concentrated in same things more than two months. However I like to know, to learn and to talk with others especially è YOU ( *^_^* )
